2 Days Left Till "La Cucaracha"

2 Days Left Till "La Cucaracha"

So we're coming down the other side of the hump this week. The Ring has been delivered to Mordor. All is well. Time to just get back to the Shire... maybe those eagles who appear in the most convenient situations can help us get to the weekend faster so we can more quickly enjoy "La Cucaracha."

But what's that? Another winged creature of Sauron comes!

Dammit! Why couldn't we have destroyed their habitats a little faster? Crafty little devils want Apocalyptic Revelry all to themselves!

Well don't fret! It's nearly here! And to tide you over, here's another tidbit to tease ya.

When you wish all of this time will never happen so you can just get reading, remember this piece of advice from Gandalf about the time that is given to you...

Actually I'm pretty sure that's how Boromir died...

Hump Day! You know what's the best thing about the hump?

You're now on the downslope heading headfirst towards "La Cucaracha!" And while I, as a New Yorker, realize the last thing you want is to head head first into a cockroach... this one is sassy!

Here's another bitesize taste of what's to come:

I get it. You're like Moses. You say "narcolepsy", but really you mean "work is lameeee." Inevitably when you tell your boss about your condition after being caught sleeping on top of the keurig, he or she questions you... Oh yeah? Narcolepsy huh? Well where do you get it treated? But you've been waiting with your answer cause you knew this was coming... "the insurance plan provided by this company doesn't fulfill my medical needs. *Sigh* "

That's right jerks! Got 'em! Count it!

There's only one real treatment for work-related illnesses like Boredom, and that is "La Cucaracha & Other Tales of Apocalyptic Revelry." It's coming Saturday, y'all. Just like Moses, your time in the desert is at its end! Click on the picture above for more info!

4 Days Left Till "La Cucaracha"

A Conservative Commission Has Been Assembled, and They Agree Only One Thing Can Stop Us From The Liberal Pope Becoming A Mutated Lizard Monster...

Okay, there are a few things that can stop the liberal pope lizard, formerly known as GODziller. This includes a heart healthy diet comprised of bright colored vegetables, a limited 4 hour tv-binge, and up-to-but-no-more-than three Oreos per hour. Those, and the all-new book, "La Cucaracha & Other Tales of Apocalyptic Revelry."

4 out of 5 doctors agree, preordering today will prevent you from having to eat an apple tomorrow! And only three of these doctors smoke Camels, so that's gotta mean something! (technically three is a majority).

Let me ask you this? Would you rather do one load of laundry in a NYC laundromat (without even drying; not even a dryer!) or would you rather preorder a book that will make you smile time and again?

Trust me, you don't want to be left in the cold.

I know what you'd say: "if it's so great, I'll wait until they make a movie out of it and cast Matt Damon, Mr. Smarty pants!" Well to that I'll say this: I'll tell them not to sell you a copy then. When it's popular, It'll be too late. And all the preorder people will be chilling inside with an Irish Coffee, while it'll rain dramatically on your head." And you'll say, "try and stop 'em, this is America" and I'll say, "is it?"

Don't Be Sad Jimmy Stewart...

Be Happy Stewart!

Or to whatever extent, be French Stewart...

Alright, that's all for now folks! Check out the book here, and get your copy in just a few short days! Thanks!

This one's for all the ladies out there!

Look folks, sometimes, you just need a little something to improve your day. Maybe it's a fancy coffee with fake colors and flavors in it, maybe it's a trip to the park to watch puppies and little kids (before remembering that it's creepy and go get a life before the cops get called on you... why did you wear the trench coat anyway? It's damn near springtime now!), maybe it's watching the version of Les Mis with Liam Neeson and imagining Jean Valjean as Javert chasing down Geoffrey Rush after he stole a loaf of bread...

Well, for the cost of that original coffee, or the train fare to Manhattan to be a weirdo, or the price of Les Mis on iTunes, you can get several hours of shenanigans and entertainment you've not experienced before by pre-ordering "La Cucaracha & Other Tales of Apocalyptic Revelry."

It's true, Liam Neeson doesn't make an appearance, but the illustration by Kevin Budnik from above is from a story that takes place in Liechtenstein so that's pretty amazing... in that you've probably never heard of Liechtenstein... unless you're a fan of A Knight's Tale. But lemme tell ya, much like with Liam Neeson, reading this book you'll laugh so hard:

Only a few days left now. Pre-order today, and dream of all the chuckles you'll have on April Fool's Day when this book drops and you were ahead of the curve.

The End is Near!... of the preorder period.

Over the next week, we will be rolling out a quote and an illustration (by Kevin Budnik) from the book everyday just to give you a little taste of what's to come! Hope you like 'em! Please share with your friends and family.

In a time bogged down with apocalyptic partisan politics that have already thrown so much of the world into a political and social chaos, you might as well at least laugh a little. And not those laughs where you start off laughing but it quickly devolves into a laugh cry and you hold your head in your hands wondering how will grandma survive on a "block grant" tax credit. Those aren't fun cries.

I mean more like this...

Right?! Isn't that what you want?

Don't you want to giggle like you once did?

And not just at things like this:

Also good. Also timely... aka Apocalyptic.

Maybe sneak a peak at "La Cucaracha", over there ------------------>

What the hell is Kobo?

Exactly!

Kobo is more of a fringe book buying experience -- it's an ebook store, but lower on the totem pole than Amazon or B&N. I'm a Kindle man myself--thank you Aunt Cathy. Kindle, then iBooks, then Nook, then... I guess Kobo because it exists. I appreciate that it exists, but for the sake of ease, as of today, La Cucaracha & Other Tales of Apocalyptic Revelry is now available as a Kindle preorder as well! Please check it out--it's less than a cup of coffee!... Well, not a normal coffee... a coffee with chicory anyway. Doesn't matter if it's iced or hot! That chicory makes all the difference. This cockroach is the chicory of new books. (and on that subject, what the hell is chicory?--The Kobo of coffee?) Get a taste below!

Bam! You're welcome world!
